Microsoft Edge is a browser made by Microsoft, first released in 2015 as a replacement to Microsoft's older and insecure Internet Explorer browser. Originally Edge was powered by Microsoft's own rendering engine named EdgeHTML, but in 2020 Microsoft released a new version that was powered by Chromium; the same engine that Google's Chrome browser uses.
