That doesn't necessarily mean you don't also have Internet Explorer installed on your server, but it does mean that you're not using it right now.

Internet Explorer used to be Microsoft's official web browser. Since the release of their Edge browser, Internet Explorer is no longer the web browser they recommend using any more; preferring instead that everyone uses the new Edge browser.

How to update Internet Explorer

Only the latest version of Internet Explorer is supported by Microsoft. Running older versions of it may mean that you are vulnerable to security problems or will encounter bugs online.

If you are running Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 then your computer will already have Internet Explorer 11 installed.
