How frequently does the site check for new browser versions?
Our systems automatically check for new software (browsers and plugins) versions every 3 hours.
If a new version is detected, our Versions system is updated; and when the various systems which use this info (namely, the Website and the API) check this database via an API every hour they update their local copy of version data with this new version.
A notification message is sent to our techs, making us aware of the update and alerting if there was a problem checking for the latest version so that we can fix it immediately.
This ensures that our version data is kept very fresh.

"Your browser version information is out of date!"
From time to time, there might be a short delay until our website picks up very latest version numbers for a particular web browser. As we said; we check for new versions every 3 hours; once a new version is found, it may then take an additional hour or so until that version information is pulled out to all our services (Website, API etc), so for a brief period of time - yes - we may be slightly behind on the version information.
We appreciate your concern, but this only happens occasionally and is a part of our normal operations. There's no need to let us know about this; please just wait a few hours and everything should be correct again.
Bear in mind as well; many web browsers which auto-update themselves may also stagger their update rollouts, so for a brief period of time, the line between what's considered "up to date" is a little blurred too...
